Ric Bucher's future with ESPN is truly dependent on the Brooklyn Nets getting Dwight Howard... He made a bet with the Brooklyn Owner. If Howard goes to Houston, then Bucher will quit ESPN and become a janitor for the Toyota Center... However, if Howard lands in Brooklyn, then Bucher will get a big fat bonus from that owner, and work in their front office!

It all makes sense now, on why he wants and believes the Nets will land Howard!

I hope you guys are sitting in comfy seats and your F5 keys aren't worn out. I don't think we're going to hear anything new until all our transactions been processed, and as of right now it seems lowry deal is the only one.

But when you factor in his impact on the defensive end of the court I would have to agree that over the course of an entire season he is the 2nd most valuable player. Even ahead of the supremely talented Kevin Durant.

You won't find a quote with Dwight himself saying "I want to be traded" either.

    ;)

Dwight is not built like Shaq.... not even close.

Believe it or not, even Shaq had some post moves.

I would take Durant over Dwight any day...your fooling yourself if you think Dwight is more valuable

Dwight Howard led an Orlando team whose next-best player was Jameer Nelson to the Finals, so yes, with Morey assembling talent around him, I can definitely see us beating the aforementioned teams.

Don't get caught up in the hype. Dominant bigs win championships. Kevin Durant is a better offensive player, no doubt, but Dwight is more valuable. Especially with the lack of great bigs in this generation of NBA players.

when did dwight howard become shaquille oneal? & when did we get kobe?

yea lets get dwight howard because dwight howard (poor man's version of shaq) is actually shaq & we can team him up with our version of kobe bryant (who da **** is that here? jeremy lamb?) & lets start winning titles.

    smdh.

Ehhh... I would also have to agree with Houst0ne... I would take Durant slightly over Dwight Howard any day.

But really, as what was stated above, quality big men are hard to come by. So really, its a true coin flip.

I'd rather give them lamb even though White is a higher bust risk. White's game intrigues me.

And what dominate big played in this past finals? Also you would let Dwight take the last shot? Come on chill he can't even hit 50% of his free throws...Durant is not hype at all he's legit...Dwight can't even play late in the game

Difference is, the sources claiming that he wants to be traded are reliable, and the Magic's actions since then back up that source.

I've seen this question asked several times in different threads, and no one has successfully answered the call for a real source...but so many people will automatically believe anything they read, it has taken on the semblance of fact.

3 straight DPOY's, 4 straight all defensive 1st team. Led league in REB's 3 of last 4 years. Plus 20ppg.

This year was obviously the exception when you have 2 top 10 perimeter players on the same team. But since we're talking about the Heat, why didn't they beat Dallas last year? How come they couldn't take it to the rim at will? A dominant, defensive big man will make your favorite player a jump shooter. That's why they're more valuable, which is why they get paid more, and that is why Greg Oden goes #1 over Durant every day of the week.
