Bynum could get hurt, but so could Dwight.

Who says Houston has to keep the young players. By getting Bynum, you likely still have assets left to try and get another very good player.

Also, who is to say Bynum wouldn't attract other players. He is the second best center in the NBA.

Care to share Bynum highlights from the remaining games of the playoffs?

The Atlanta offer is more similar to Brooklyn's than ours. If they were more likely to take the Houston deal, I'd be very surprised if they flipped the script and went the mediocre route and took Horford/Teague and junk.

Its a moot point if Morey comes up empty again though. Which by my estimation is strongly favored according to statistical chances of how many times he has struck out so far. So dont get too comfortable with the idea of either one of them by tomorrow. It could be very painful if neither ends up here. AGAIN. Unless you are numb to it like I am, and can speak freely of this possibility.

I wish we could figure out a way to get Bynum and Gasol. I know it sounds ridiculous but if the Lakers were getting Howard, Scola and another important asset it would seem feasible considering Gasol's age.

Bynum's a very good player and will help to even out this horrific roster.

If we can get this done without giving up Royce or DoMo I'd be totally :grin::grin: (I'd love to keep Lamb also, but I'm sure they will want him).

It's understandable that you hate all Howard, but I hate your hating Bynum as well

So the Hawks are just going to trust Smith to convince Howard to stay?

Unlikely. They won't trade anyone of significant value.

Morey has the leverage because he's the Honey Badger. He doesn't give a **** if Howard stays or leaves and has the pieces and avalible cap space ORL wants.

if we got bynum and he was our 2/3 than fine...

    but he'd be our 1...

3 bosh level players isnt gonna beat a lebron level player, bosh level player, and a joe johnson level player...

dwight is a lebron level player(best at thier [position and top 3 player)...

    bynum is a top 10 level player(maybe)....

I'd rather spend this year tanking and go for bynum next years free agency and draft some future young studs.
