If they lewis and he still has gas left and they get camby on top of allen, they might as well not even play a season next year, they might sweep the playoffs, lebrons getting the jordan calls now for atleast a few more years till the nba starts crowning durant as the poster child.

Well Battier really isn't a knockdown shooter and Miller has been hurt most of the time there. Jones also can't do more than just spot-up. A "healthy" Lewis can.

I agree more size should be their target but Lewis on a minimun deal is a steal.

They should've kept Arnett Moultrie, would've been more expensive, but he could probably contribute leaps and bounds more than Lewis.

Well I think Miami now can go in two directions if they want to prolong their dynasty:

    1) Get more wing and forward players

    2) Get a better center long term.

Right now their center is a dleague/backup level talent, but he is game at crashing the boards, banging with big men and basically staying out of the way. On other teams, this would be the path to nowhere but in the Heat both LBJ and Bosh can play forward and c positions reasonably well, so while getting a better center would save on the wear and tear on Bosh and LBJ, they can also strengthen the wing/forward positions with the intention of having LBJ and Bosh play more PF/C next season. Considering centers are extremely expensive (Asik 8M, Hibbert MAX), I guess Riley just decided to get the most bang for their buck and got Lewis and Allen instead.

IMHO these are enough "finesse scorers" on the team, he should get bully or enforcer roles afterwards, guys who can soften up the opponent and tire them out while LBJ/Wade/Bosh are sitting on the bench. Camby would have been perfect IMHO, him, Allen and Juwon Howard would have been the perfect mix of veteran savvy and nastiness that Miami needs.

Otis Smith (aka Isiah Thomas 2.0) gave him the max because he had a ton of cap that year.

If Miami stays healthy may only lose 5 or 6 games next season. No joke. The NBA is looking like European soccer in the fact that the big market teams obtain superstars and then attract every other star in the league to sign with them. Then you have a bunch of mediocre teams filling out the rest of the league.

    Allen & Lewis reunited?

If OKC and MIA meet in the finals again, the city of Seattle would be mind****ed.

I was really surprised when he fell to them. I was even more surprised when they traded him away.

heat are going to be a force for A LONG TIME.

ya rashard lewis is washed up but, hey, all he has to do is hit open threes.

    this is getting ridiculous.

when is morey gonna blow this roster up and have room for three guys to sign here at once? can he be the second one to do it after riley?

He's gonna have a bounce-back season. He hasn't played since the all-star break.
