http://www.cnn.com/2003/WORLD/asiapcf/south/01/07/india.pakistan.nuclear.ap/index.html These two moron countries make dealing with Iraq and North Korea look like child's play. Fun quotes: Musharraf said in a speech on December 30 that he personally sent a message to Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee warning that India "should not expect a conventional war from Pakistan" if Indian troops moved across the border of disputed Kashmir province ... "We can take a bomb or two or more ... but when we respond there will be no Pakistan," PTI quoted Fernandes as saying. ... Minister George Fernandes told a summit in Hyderbad, India Tuesday that Pakistan would "cease to exist" in the event of a nuclear war with its neighbor. The whole world is falling apart.
Both sides seem to be having a little trouble grasping the concept of nuclear war or they just like talking ****.
Most wargame scenarios, done by the US DoD, of a major conflcit between India - Pakistan end with Pakistan using the nuke card. Musharraf was just stating something that was already known by many. Scenarios for a Subcontinental Nuclear War ...........WASHINGTON - There’s a reason that the escalating nuclear competition between India and Pakistan worries the US military more than most proliferation problems: Most times the US military has ‘wargamed’ a nuclearized subcontinent, the exercise ends with the players ‘launching’ nuclear weapons. A mock war in the Asian subcontinent is one of the most common games played by senior US military officers and other government officials. The usual scenario for a new India-Pakistan clash begins with the two nations at a crisis point over Kashmir. India, worried that Pakistan could move tanks and armoured personnel carriers east from the border city of Lahore and cut off the Indian-held part of Kashmir, pre-emptively attacks to secure its corridor to that disputed region, pushing deep into Pakistani territory. The Pakistanis, driven backward and fearful of losing their nuclear arsenal, launch a nuclear strike against the Indian force. Usually, says Sam Gardiner, a retired Air Force strategist who has run about 25 such games for the Pentagon and other military-planning centers, the escalation to nuclear weapons happens within the first 12 ‘days’ of the war game. ‘It’s a scary scenario’, says Col. Mike Pasquarett, director of operations and gaming at the US Army War College’s Center for Strategic Leadership, which ran a war game involving the Indian subcontinent this spring. .......
What is India suppose to do? How should India respond when the President (President my ass..... ) of Pakistan threatens to use nuclear weapons against India? Is India suppose to just sit there and not respond. If Canada and US did not get along and Canada said the war would not be "conventional", you bet your ass we would respond just like India. India already has signed a "no-first use" policy unlike that ****ty terrorism supporting Pakistan. Give up on Kashmir for crying out loud. India aint givin it up.
what's the difference between pakistan and a pancake? i don't know any pancakes that were nuked by india! ahh the simpson's, gotta love them. maybe i'm stupid, but what exactly are war games. i mean how exactly are they simulating this stuff. just their best guess of what would happen or does a computer do it and why do they do it a lot of times for the same situation? and when you're dealing with potentially crazy people, what good does any of it do. thanks.
Read the article if you want to understand. Look under the heading 'Unintended Consequences' for a good example. It helps predict how things escalate once the 'crazy' people establish the environment.
