So many people sleeping on him....they will be singing his praises later on like the typical bandwagon fan.

You got all that from a highlight video on Youtube of his high school days?? I'm just curious but did you watch him play in college? If you did, you wouldn't be using a an outrageously definitive statement like "not athletic at all".

Usually one would look better in high school, don't you think? Dude is a bit slow. Hope I'm wrong.

I like TJ in first video. He dances. Busty Morris refused to dance.

Would you rather have a 20 year old Terrence Jones for 4 years on a fairly cheap contract or a 24 year old Chase Budinger for one more year before he hits the market? That is an easy decision.

He looks awkwardly coordinated, which, for anyone who grew up playing organized sports, is a very good thing.

When you say someone has one or not, you're referring to it's consistency and accuracy from varying distances. Simply being able to release a shot doesn't give one "a jumper".

Are you telling me Jones' jumpshot is comparable to Pierce's? From what i understand, he takes shots primarily at the rim, at least when he's not in love with shooting threes, which he shoots without squaring up or getting much lift. At the college level, where the three is closer, he was just over 30%. In the NBA, that would barely make him an ok three point shooter, and again, he'd need to increase his range. He doesn't have much of a midrange game, if at all, probably because at that distance the defense isn't sagging and he can't jump into it or over it either, so he can't get off his shot cleanly.

He shoots free throws around 64 percent.

So, before you roll your eyes at me, can you at least make a case for this "jumper" that Terrence Jones has? I'd love to email it to just about every scout in the country who thinks his jumper needs significant work.

Lol what? How did Anthony Davis look in high school as a junior compared to when he got drafted? Jones, is 20, just like Davis he hasn't reached the apex of his physical potential and abilities. Guys get bigger, stronger, faster, and more explosive with legit strength and conditioning programs. If you didn't watch him play at Kentucky check out the various scouting reports on him and they all have words like "athletic" or "explosive" used to describe him. Terrence Jones is also more of a 4 than he is a 3. He might look slow if you compare him to wing players but he's not going to be a predominant wing player.

He donated 3 teeth to a UK fan here in KY who lost them in a fight. No joke.

    Marcus Morris Syndrome....

My sources,(what sources?...the voices in my head...Bill Ingram style) tell me that Morris could be on his way to Pheonix to play with his brother, great marketing ploy for the rebuilding Suns...we might get the Big Pole after all...

It's already been mentioned but he looks twice the size of everyone in that video. He didnt look slow, more like this is easily dominant.

I'm completely confused on where you get the idea he's unathletic. I thought you were being sarcastic but apparently not.

Gortat for Morris+another asset (not Parsons, DMO, White, Lamb)? Sign me up. Hell, I'd be down if we trade Morris+the Toronto lottery pick for Gortat. Plus, Gortat will enable us to resign Camby at a reasonable price.

I don't think he's as slow as some people think. He's got REALLY long strides on some of those moves to the basket which make him look slow and slightly plodding/methodical at times. If you pay attention though, he's getting by people with those super-long strides and seems to have good enough handles to make it work. I'd like to see more defensive footage to see how quick he is laterally, but from what I see in these films (and remember from watching him in college), I certainly wouldn't call him "slow."

You guys are masters at ensuring that the Rockets get the #14th pick for few more years. "Don't aim too high, just trade for semi-stars that keep you in the playoff race, but don't make you a contender or high lottery team."

Why are people even ****ing around with stupid high school highlight videos when there is this much better breakdown of his strengths and weaknesses:
