I think Gerald Wallace gives the edge to the nets in this scenario.

Howard would destroy the heat with other good players around him.

If the Nets get Howard, that would be like the 1994 Rockets vs 1994 Bulls.

Howard would destroy Bosh at ever chance given to him.

    Nets by a long shot

I'd give the edge to the Nets BEFORE the Allen signing.

With the amount of wide open 3s Allen is going to get... the Heat are going to be scary.

If 3s went in for the Heat during the playoffs, Lebron & Wade might have been able to get away with playing 30 minutes a game vs the 40+ they played for the 1st few rounds, imagine them with MORE in their reserve tank whenever they need it.

Gerald Wallace is just as conducive to winning basketball as Joe Johnson has been. I do think having a true point will make him better but still. Johnson just isn't that great IMO.

Heat. Gotten the first year of learning to play together behind them gotten over the can they/Lebron win it all media frenzy. Way ahead of the Nets on building a supporting cast.

i would give the edge to the nets if that they do indeed get howard.

Dwill and D12 is going to be a scary pick and roll combo, with wallace and JJ spoting up.

Amazing how Dream, Clyde, and Chuck can make even the worst uniforms look good!

    Yes, you are crazy.

The Heat have one player (Lebron) that is better than ANY player on NJ, and by a significant margin. They have another player (Wade) who is better than at least two of them, also by a fairly significant margin. And a third player (Bosh) who is better than Joe Johnson.

You can argue this and that about match-ups and how they'd play together, but I wouldn't buy any of it. The latter has already won one championship and come within two close wins of another. That matchup is not even close.

sorry, but i would choose DWill over Wade as of now, since we don't know how wade's knee is. and howard is better than bosh. your right about lebron being the best on either team though.

The Nets "big 3" fit better together, but The Heat play much better defense. I would give the nod to the Heat still.
