    It appears that Toronto won't extend him qualifying offer now that they have Lowry.

    His starter minutes production according to the article:

    "17.8 points, 5.3 assists and 1.4 steals per game last season"

    Not sure if his TOs match Lin's, but if we were to give him a shot, it would make me forget about Linsanity. Sure, he's a combo guard, but I would consider him over AB.

    I'd get him if tanking is the way to go, it would help with that while maybe developing him into something of value.

    I would definitely take a flyer on Bayless. He's still VERY young - 24 in August, and just had his best season statistically. His starter minutes were great, ESPECIALLY shooting.

    The Rockets should pass on Bayless. I saw him extensively as a Blazer and he just doesn't get how to play team basketball. I don't know exactly what the problem is but JayBay can't blend into an offense where he isn't the main attraction. He also doesn't have a good jumpshot.

    T-Rex is a poor man's Steve Francis except he isn't as athletic and has worse tunnel-vision. When a PG can't shoot very well, isn't good at setting up teammates, can't blow people away with athleticism and is nothing special on defense, forget it unless he takes a cheap one or two-year deal.

    Bayless' high school highlights are spectacular. I thought he might become an NBA star and would be a perfect fit playing off Brandon Roy. When he dominated during summer league, I was shaking my head at why OKC took WB at #4 instead of Bayless. But I read a bunch of talk by NBA some writers who were skeptical how he would fit in Portland. They were so right.

    He might have a better shot as 6th man if he can stay healthy. I thought he did ok as a starter PG this last season, but his defense and tunnel vision is still a big question mark.

    Pass on Bayless, he will not amount to anything in this league.

    I could see Sessions being a good replacement. I would be happy with him for the right price.
