When Yao joined Rockets, he's the superhero of the town (except for Charles Barkley, who had to kiss donkey's ass couple months later). So, my question is, if Lin finally decides to join this team, would he be even more hyper than Yao in 2001 in Houston?

If Lin ends up being more hyper than Yao then I get shock.

A lot hype surrounds Lin, no doubt, but Yao...Yao brought TREMENDOUS hype, as well as tremendous size, and skills.

I like Lin, but Yao was pretty hyped up and I think that Yao would have been bigger and better than his orininal hype had Yao never gotten hurt.

Warriors fans started hating Lin because of the Lin fans. As we know, Warriors fans are a dedicated bunch.

So yeah, prepare for the onslaught.

Are you saying disgruntled Warriors fans will come to CF and rag on the Linsanity?

    Linsanity sparked America & ESPN.

Yao-mania bridged billions of Chinese to the NBA and basketball.

Lin is Taiwanese not Chinese. Not that it makes a difference or anything. And yes he would still be a Knick in less than a week.
