    There IS serious talk to make basketball in the Olympics 23-&-Under for everyone.

    And have a bigger World Championship / better "World Cup" pro tournament (controlled by the NBA instead of FIBA)

    The next Olympics might be the last of the OLYMPIC super-professional "Dream" teams.

    *EDIT*

    DUH, the OP mentions that. But not in the same exact way. They proposal is just to use anyone under 23 pro or not

    In that case it'd still be Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, James Harden going over, ALONG with all those college guys.

    BUT it requires approval.

    So back to the college guys and under scenarios

    Don't forget Demarcus Cousins, John Wall, Kyrie Irving, Blake Griffin, etc. With 23 and under, a beastly team could still be made. It also might be more interesting to watch the Olympics when we don't have such a stacked squad.
