I don't think Yao is physically ready to be the focus of our offense now. He seems to be running out of gas the last few games. I know that when I am tired, I can't be as active (not aggressive, btw) on the court. Maybe that's why Yao is not doing the kind of things he is capable of recently.

IMHO, SF is still da man. He is the one who has to carry the team until Yao is ready to take over.

Yao will be great. He needs to be more aggressive. There were times last night when instead of falling away, he should have went hard to the basket. He will learn this in time. He is going to have to step up and take it up strong. He will gain strength and more understanding as time goes on.

    No, no way.

Steve needs to practise the 3-point plays in these few games for his all-star three point competition. (Wow, are Glen Rice and Mobley going to the 3-point competition too?) As to Yao, he is tired, he does not have the physical ability nor stigma to go inside the low post. After all, he needs to practise his fade-away shots for his all-star game and for his upcoming game against Shaq. Also, he needs to bump up his rebound instead of shot stat to meet the challenge from Stoudamire. Haha.

So, who is going to run our offence when we face a weak opponent. EG, he is our men! Haha, Rudy has a very good foresight, so EG runs our offence and made sure he will make 10 attempts each game, Yao Ming will make 12 attempts, and Glen Rice will make 3 (except the last game when he destroyed our chemistry). Franchise and Mobley will take the rest of the starters' attempts. Hey, we have a very structured system. If you check out the stat of the latest four games we lost, you will grasp that. It is such a fair system, no starter will complain again.

Isn't it all about a happy team! Thanks God, the next opponent is a stronger team. So, hopefully Franchise and Dynasty will assume their leadership.

    Yao is either
    1. Tired
    2. Not physically ready (not strong enough)
    3. Not aggressive
    4. A combination of two or three of the above.

The third possibility is not totally out of proportion. Just remember Mobley and Francis said in the beginning of the season; they told Yao to be aggressive and dunk the ball. It seems like Yao is playing Mr. Nice Guy. Or maybe aggressive is still not in his routine habit, he prefers finesse over aggresive play.

I'm not worried about the rookie. I am just worried about this team as a whole. The team really has no offensive identity. No idea which team will show up on any given night. No consistency...... I blame this on the coaching of this team.
