I'd like to see him end up on a good team, like the Heat, Spurs, OKC, or Boston. This year, it looks like Houston is going to be walking disaster with no immediate vision.
My post above was about next year's draft. He's talking about this coming season. I said I'd rather take a chance with more ping pong balls and a higher draft pick than finish with the 14th pick AGAIN.
Camby can play, but he would be nails in Miami and would be playing at home in comfort in Houston, I wonder which direction he is leaning towards? Does he burn to win, or be comfortable, and if it is the latter, just how good will he really play for the Rox anyway? DD
Despite any screenplay, theatricals, stunts, or operas for soap, the Truth is: Dwight and Camby are Ballers' and Consistently get it Done on the court. Adding an Improved Rox Arsenal to those towers -as per Morey next moves, would certainly be a Reinvigorating Sight to behold (like Yao and Deke), considering the past three years of you know what
Houston not on Camby's list. I guess they didn't call him. http://www.csnnw.com/pages/landingb...ws-his-choices-t=1&blockID=733924&feedID=5212
camby likes houston but likes MLE better. the only reason deke signed with us for vet min is because we had yao at that time and he thought we were a championship contender + he would just play spot minutes here and there. also, les probably donated a butt-load to his congo hospital as a salary supplement.

For some people, comfort is the most important thing in life. I took less money by staying with my current company in order to be comfortable. The extra money would be nice but I'd rather be working in a place that makes me happiest. Perhaps that's the way Camby feels about it. Maybe at his age he'd rather be comfortable playing here than "maybe" getting a ring in Miami where things might not be as nice for him, who knows...
The ball is in Rockets court, if they offer him good money he will certainly stay. However, if Asik signs with us and Morey will eye Dwight still, no way Camby is going to wait. If we get Dwight, with Asik there, there's no reason for Camby to be here. I like Camby, he was the hardest working player and would be #1 priority if I were Morey. Also if we let him go, that means trying to make the playoffs last year was even a worse move than originally thought. If we don't keep him, we might as well have let Thabeet and Flynn expire and get a higher pick.
