Technology has advanced pretty far since the 1980's. Gameboy Advances have a lot more power then the Nintendo Entertainment Systems had, and the NES games could reach $75 (Super Mario Bros. 3 right?) and the GBA can be found for only $70. Also the internet is a huge leap from the '80s. I mean the DNS internet. However, the '80s were still cool.
I wonder if they are going to do the I Love the 90's? That would be cool. The 90's was more my generation than the 80's. I could not believe they talked about the Miracle on Ice. For a sport that was not very popular at the time, it couldn't believe it was a big deal.
most everything from the eighties gives me a headache if i think about it too much. but playing vice city, everything is starting to grow on me. ..ive always liked depeche mode... i have no personal nostalgia to relate, because i was younger than ten in '88. but...the hair is the only thing i will never think is cool.. its strange to think we will most likely live through the "20's..."
I literally skipped studying for all of my finals to watch "I Love The 80s" when it first aired in December. ...And I would do it again.
