Courtney Lee wants "a bit more than MLE"

Who would've thought that about Avery Bradley?

 

I think there is a very good chance of him taking the QO and try his luck next season if he insists on more than the MLE. He'll wait...and wait...and wait...and nobody will bite for more than the MLE...and finally he will take the MLE to be a UFA next season.

 

give him his money !! give him a lowry contract i dont mind it he plays hard on D and is a great shooter and can drive to the basket he deserves it

Hypothetical. Would you resign him if the competing offer was 5 years 40 million from a team in the eastern conference. Hypothetically speaking.

 

Sign him, then trade him later in the season.

 

Let him walk and develop the younger guys.

 

Lee is worth 5 million a year max.

 

Restricted sucks now - teams are very wary of the new cap and I expect a lot of the middle of the road guys to take pretty big hits in what they could have made in the old CBA.

Lee is probably example number 1.....I doubt he gets a full MLE deal.

I hope someone gives him that. I think he's a good player, but he's just going to keep us in mediocrity. Best thing for us now is to blow this puppy up. It's time to end an era. An era of good role-players who can hustle and play hard to get us to the 9th seed in the conference.

Bradley was strongly considered to be the best perimeter defender of that 2010 draft.

 

The full MLE is $5M. His QO is $4.3M.

 

morey needs to waive all the bucks guys to give us the exta 7 mill in cap space. We are LOWWWWWWW on funds at the moment and have way to many players on the roster
