If Ray Allen signs to the Heat

    And is relatively healthy, do the Heat pretty much win the title in 2013?

    I don't think even Ray Allen can hit more 3's than Battier and Miller did in the Finals.

    yes definitely. miller should probably retire now. he seems completely broken down.

    Allen would be a great fit but they need to address their center issue.

    Yup, there's no guarantees for a championship in this league. Anyone can go off for one game or multiple games in a playoff series.

    But his moving around screens throughout the halfcourt will open things up for Lebron/Wade. Battier/Miller are stationary 3pt shooters so Lebron/Wade have to do a lot of the work. Ray can just run around and get open, and also can create off the dribble a little bit still. HUGE upgrade over Mike Miller, who only had a handful of impactful games in his 2-year tenure in Miami.

    Totally agree. Zone was effective against Miami because of all the standing around 3/5 players did for Miami.

    Ray Allen gives a huge finger to zone defense.

    Ray-Ray needs to come off picks and screens; whose shots does he take? He'd be a positive, but (yawn).

    Injuries can happen especially with a bench of Miller-Battier-Allen. At their age injury proneness is pretty high.
    If anything they need to get rid of Jones. Absolutely worthless horrible off-ball mover and useless if shots aren't falling.
