Local places to buy musicians gear - Houston?

    Im looking for bass strings, and a new acoustic guitar.

    Where are all of the local (non-corporate Guitar Center) places to buy musicians gear?

    A nice used selection is cool.

    Im not a big fan of Evans on Westheimer.......

    Rockin Robin on Shepard (I think) has great gear...

    Yeah, Rockin' Robin probably has the best Bass department in Houston.

    Thanks Chance, but for acoustic guitars, I like to sit down and play em first...

    Oh and thanks for permanently imbedding the Yao Ming song in my head.....
