Pure class. He deserves to go to a contender.

reunite him with Manny or the fuhrer. He needs to be with a contender. He has earned it.

I don't know if trading him away would be the best thing for the team. He is a big leader on the court and he does it by example. Always 100% every second on the court and if other players aren't playing like that, it makes them look bad. As good as a professional you get. I rather see Patterson, Martin, and Lowry go before Scola.

Imho he should go to the bulls. Scola would be much better than boozer at this point. With a healthy derrick rose and rest of their team. Makes perfect sense. Also we could try to get asik this way. Chi signs and trades asik + some fillers for luis.

Luis Scola is probably my favorite Rockets player but I hope he gets traded. The dude has a great attitude and always gives 100% but his defense is GARBAGE. I really don't think we could get much for him tho. Maybe we can shed some salary or something.

    Before we drafted more pfs...

Spurs seem like the only competitive/contender team that has room and need for him. Perfect place for him. Hopefully it's a 3 team deal because i don't think spurs can give us anything worthwhile..

Scola could do wonders for a contending team.

He still holds good value, IMO.

I hope I'm wrong, but I don't really see this as a sign of "rebuilding". I think trading Scola's salary always made a lot of sense this summer... the glut of power forwards just makes it that much more logical.

So I'd say they are shopping him for a Varejao type that could play some center, or they look for a cap/money-saving move.

I know Daryl Morey would trip over himself to get Joakim Noah, but don't see that happening.

Again, why is Noah not untouchable anymore? Chicago can't afford Scola,

Chicago isn't trading Noah for Scola. That just isn't happening. They'd counter with Boozer for Scola and the Rockets/Rockets fans wouldn't do that.

What about Brooklyn? ;) They have the cap room for him, no? And weren't they interested in him when he was a FA? Kris Humphries is a FA. What's not to like? Ha

I know it's a pipe dream but I wish we could offer them Martin and Scola for Avery Bradley and filler.

And if success/fail for 4's anything like Morey's % for 5's , then how many rookie 4's do you need to cover trading a Scola?

I want Splitter. We need some post defense, and he would be a nice specialty big. I would gladly do Scola+Leuer for Splitter+2nd Rounder
