I'm curious to know how much these reporters make, especially the ones employed by larger corporations. (ESPN, FOX, CNN.. etc..)
read they offered her more money but that it was the same roles. prob why she left. wants to do more, ESPN wouldnt go for it
Erin Andrews brings nothing to the table other than her good looks. For many guys, that's plenty sufficient.
Sports Bunny. Big Deal. You can find her replacement in any community college, mall, or auto show. We have our own version here in Houston, and she could do the same job for half the pay. Plus, she's already used to hanging around ugly old sports reporters.
My college roommate from Atlanta told me she really struggles doing anything else but sideline reporting. She used to work for the Braves and my buddy said she would struggle to read off cue cards while on camera. I really don't blame her for wanting to advance in her career, but I think ESPN made a good decision. She's not play-by-play or color analyst material. She's not even studio analyst-level. Here's a commentary on how players view her analyst skills: <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/DdDGYsYXHKc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Ive had a few interactions with her...she's a total b****, her sister is cool though. Stayed at the SLS hotel in LA a couple years ago with some friends...Erin Andrews, her sister, and the dude that was on dancing with the stars with her (figure skater) were there. We ran into them every day at the pool and ended up having drinks with them along with random conversations throughout the weekend. Her sister was very outgoing and friendly...the figure skater was okay...and Erin sucked. She had an attitude as if she owned the world. Just the way she talked to others, the people that worked at the hotels, her general attitude towards us, etc... For instance, we'd be in the pool and the waitress would come around for drink orders. We'd all order something and I'd tell them to order as well on our tab. The sister and the guy would order, but then Erin would retort "I can afford my own drinks" in a pissy sort of way. Total turn off. Oh, and for those that need a "pic or GTFO"...
the only reason she is even famous is that she is attractive and works for ESPN, and she had that leaked video that allowed her to get on dancing with the stars.
Yes, and there any many many many other people who are famous for reasons not concerning their talents.
