The way I see it, we have possibly the best SG in the draft in Jeremy Lamb, and a SF/PF Hybrid in the mold of Lebron James in Royce White.

These are not picks to be sneezed at. Royce White especially intrigues me, his handles are ridiculous. Everyone is talking about how we will have the same record or we have no stars? Who is to say these players won't be our new stars? Give them playing time and watch the magic happen.

A high draft position does not equate to a star. Kobe was drafted 13. Look at Manu in the 2nd round.

Playing time will determine our stars.

    I stopped reading at Lebron.

We could have a star in our draft. Statistically, we wont, but there's a chance. None of them will be Lebron.

Its unknown right now. I wont put that pressure on them yet. Lamb has that potential yes.

He's BUILT like LeBron. That much is undeniable.

I never said he WAS LeBron.

Sorry for the double post, but how do you know you have a star unless you play him?

    Case and point: Jeremy Lin

History tells us it isn't likely.

I'd say that chances of us getting one legit star out of this...a top 20 player...is probably about 3%.

I do think one of them will be an Allstar one day. I'm thinking one of Lamb or White.
It's possible we could have drafted Rudy Gay, Kevin Love and Josh Smith.

I don't consider 3.6 TO/gm while averaging 26 minutes to be a star. He might have been a media sensation for a month, but he doesn't play at "star level"

For people who are so hard up for Andre Drummond, keep in mind it was Royce White who knocked his uninspired play out of the NCAA Tournament

I think White's ceiling is somewhere between Anthony Mason and a lesser Barkley (the younger, extremely mobile version). The former was a borderline All Star at times (16/11/6 one year), and Chuck was Chuck. I hope White makes it to his ceiling

I love the picks. All three have significant ability to put the ball on the floor and get to the iron. Royce White is just a total baller. Lamb is a great shooter. Terrence Jones is a great all-around player. Weren't there some reports a few weeks ago about TJones tearing up the guys he was working out with... like PJ3?

Royce White. DD jumping onto the hype bandwagon killed his NBA career before it even began.
