Yeah, this is how you talk about prospects. What he said about Drummond wasn't so great, either:

He wants to justify his investment by devaluing the other products in his head. He's convincing himself more than anyone else.

He didn't have to say it publicly.

Yeah, we're going to kill people at the center position with our no one at all.

I'd rather use a pick on a guy with upside than Zeller who has no upside. Position lacking or not.

It's not like he's wrong. Zeller's a goofy white guy who'll have an Eric Montross-type career.

BTW, Cleveland gave up WAYYYY too much to get up and take his rights.

i am surprised he fell that far though, it's just hard to get a true 7 footer who seems fairly athletic and skilled.

I honestly wish the Rockets would have been Cleveland's trade partner, instead of Dallas.

Our #16 for Cleveland's #24, #33, #34? If the Mavs and Cavs didn't take White at #16 and #17, we could have done this:

    #18: Royce White
    #24: Perry Jones III
    #33: Quincy Miller?
    #34: Will Barton?

    Much better than Terrence Ross.

Oops, good catch. I meant Jones.

And was he? I mean, if he was still of that caliber, Teams wouldn't have passed on him 17 times, right?

Again, if we made the deal instead of Dallas, I think the combo of PJ3, Barton and Miller would have been better than a Jones pick. Plus, Miller and Barton wouldn't even have guaranteed contracts.
