The point is once they start getting some hype on the court that will change. It may be with Royce White or Jeremy Lamb. I expect one of them will worth more than most of these guys drafted today. Lamb in particular. Right now today yes. Lamb is ranked 12th. After some practices and preseason games? He will pass MKG and Beal is what I suspect. Then perhaps Rivers too.

 

He's not as valuable as Lowry or Dragic

That was almost 2 years ago. He's been too injury prone since then and his numbers have not been what people expected. Not sure if he will even start over Wilson Chandler next year.

Another point is Kobe was taken 13th. Kerry Kittles and Stephon Marbury were taken ahead of him. It happens. Right now I am happy with Lamb. Tomorrow I could be happy with Royce White more than Lamb. That could also happen. By next year the most coveted guy could be Austin Rivers or Lamb. In 10 years it could be Drummond. I am actually happy with this draft now. Dwight was unrealistic. Did not want Gasol.

 

I had the names backwards for Beal and Rivers. Yes I do have Lamb above both of them.
