Scola is one of my all time favorite player i love him. I love him so much that i would rather see him traded to a contender so he can succeed. We could still get something good for him. But i just don't wanna see him rot here while we are rebuilding and see his huge heart waisted here in this rebuilding team.
Its just hard for me to come to terms with it since he is so awesome but this is me just wanting to see someone i really like succeed.
He should have been gone last year, i love Luis. But he needs to go to a team where he can compete for a ring, we have a lot of young players on our team, and now with us not getting Dwight Howard( it just gonna be another season of growing pains)
This^^ might as well try to get back Chuck Hayes while we're at it. New Rockets slogan 2012-2013 season: Who needs centers and Guards when you have 15 forwards. Not 5, not 6, not 7....
How about keeping him and have him win a Chip in H-Town. You don't give up a player with Scola's heart and basketball iq just to see him win some where else. I rather keep him here and roll with that.
in responding to the thread title...no ****...he plays below the rim and couldnt defend a wet paper bag
If rockets find a taker for scola, no doubt we will trade him. but he is our ONLY low post scorer we have on the roster. interesting..
Like it or not, we have a depreciating asset. He's not getting any prettier to buyers and we're not close to scratching the WCF. Asset is a wonderful term that's too often misused in the pejorative. It's a fact that he can be leveraged to better the team. Teams spurn us bc we're a middling team in a boring city.
