Hmmm... So players on other NBA teams also do not like sitting on the bench. And here I thought only Kevin McHale has this sort of magic on players.
I think he would do MAGIC in OKC. MAJOR playoff experience, affordable contract, mature, and he has more post offense than Perkins AND Ibaka. He already knows how to play with a defensively strong big. Looks like Spurs are going young bringing over int'ls.
how about a future first round pick and scola for tiago and blair? Manu and luifa reunited and it would feel so good.
Blair would be the type of player we would go after if we made a trade for Howard tonight and signed Deron during FA. But if we can't make that happen then its rebuild time with (hopefully) some top 10 picks after some draft day trades and then we would roll with the young guys.
Blair is the type of player a contending team might give up a late 20's pick for. Could see Miami go after him.
That's probably the reason SAS is getting rid of him. They've gambled long enough. He's bound to break down sooner or later a la Brandon Roy. San Antonio doesn't want to be the culpable (read, salary bound) party when that happens.
Blair? No thanks, he cannot jump. I would like a team that plays above the rim...The dude has the legs of a 58 year old man
