    He wishes. Without a trade the Lakers are in cap purgatory.

    No draft pick and over the tax = No MLE. So how do the Lakers improve? They can't. Let's keep it that way.

    Good. Maybe I'm just too old fashioned, but I don't want a player who doesn't want to be here.

    Draft Drummond or Meyers
    Draft Barnes or Perry
    Draft Lamb

    Call it a day.

    Meyers, D-Mo, Perry, Lamb, and Goran, and all of a sudden the Rockets no longer have a height or length deficit. Replace Meyers with Drummond, and all of a sudden the Rockets are:

    1. tall
    2. young
    3. athletic
    4. long
    5. fun to watch

    Case closed.

    I actually agree. There's no chance Dwight will be a Rocket in 24 hours.

    He needs to be a Rockets before July 1 if they want a chance at Deron, though.

    This is about where I am. If we come away with Gordon, Josh Smith, plus one pretty decent rookie (12th pick or better, especially for a center), I'll be pretty happy. As for keeping our current players, I want DMo and Dragic (playing Gordon at SG), maybe Parsons, and some of the rest.
