Can't emphasize enough though that the Rockets were active in pursuit of a top pick whether can use it in deal or not. Don't want 3 rooks.

Ken Berger: Update: #Rockets, #Kings engaged in talks for No. 5 pick, but Sacramento resisting Houston's overtures.

Ken Berger: Some execs believe Houston wants Drummond, but could be a smokescreen for their real target: Lillard, whom the Blazers want at 6

The buzz died when his weaknesses like poor rebounding, dependence on outside shooting became apparent.
Fortunately,he has started to overcome these problems.

They can take anyone but Motie and Parsons. Anyone and everyone but those two.

Well thats actually 3 lottery picks to them considering D-mo. Since I have no connection to him? I am all for it.

I actually think Lilliard could be real, with a scouting team as sophisticated as the Rox I have a hard time believing they're gonna get Drummond, esp. after Thabeet clowned his ass last year.

I would have an orgasm if we got Lilliard, I think he could be just as good as Irving and IMHO he could make a case as the best player in this draft.

No, the buzz didn't just die down. He played and the scouts didn't like what they saw. He had a down year, and dropped in the next draft. Just like many people drop from first predictions in mock drafts, before scouts really get to see them.

Do you really want to trade what could be the next Dirk Nowitzki? No thanks. Donuts could be better than whoever gets drafted 5th.

I don't want to give up D-Nuts + a pick if we're just going to use the pick on a young player. To me D-Nuts is top 5 caliber and we'd just be losing a #12 or 16 or 18 in the process.

Now if Orlando wanted that #5 and D-Nuts was standing in the way...that's a different question entirely.

Thomas as a starter shot 47.7% FG and 40.6% 3P w/. 5.4apg. He was named rookie of the month twice.

Lowry is shorter than his listed height, some have said he's really 5-9.

You must've meant Cousins when you wrote Tyreke. Surely.

He might or might not have been top-5 in ESPN's mock draft. DX had him top-7 on 10/18/2012: http://www.draftexpress.com/mymock.php?mid=1798&detail=2 Not sure if he ever was projected any higher on DX.

D-Mo might be the most overrated player on the history of this board in the 15 years I've been here.

He was selected 20th last year and he would probably be selected in the mid 20's in this years draft.

What has he done to suggest that he's going to make an impact in the league? Moreover, what has he done to make you think twice about sending him as part of a package to get you the 5th pick if such a deal were on the table?

Bill Ingram: Houston's next move would seem to be to get the #5 from Sacramento, but so far the Kings aren't budging.

    THANKS BILL

Why cant they like Dmo, 12th, and 18th? Dmo by himself is worth a lottery pick. Thats 3 lottery picks to them.
