Blazers willing to trade #6 or #11 for Lowry and Paul Milsap

    According to Chad Ford from ESPN.com:

    The Blazers, Warriors, Raptors and Hornets are also looking at various options with their picks. I think the Blazers at No. 6 or No. 11 are the likeliest of that bunch to make a trade. They have interest in Jazz forward Paul Millsap and Rockets guard Kyle Lowry.

    If this is true then we pretty much know there is a deal involving Lowry and possibly the 5th pick and/or Evans.

    Remember it says the 6th or 11th.

    Imagine having the 6th, 11th, 14th, 16th and 18th pick in the draft. Yikes.


    Did I miss something? I know what the Kings said about the Evans trade, but that really doesn't mean much to me.

    lowry is a great player. i'd really hate to see him traded, but if he WANTS to go, then the #6 pick would be the best option.

    I wonder how that would workout?

    Lowry, Millsap go to Portland
    18, 11, 2nd rd pick(s) (from Portland), and Mathews go to Utah
    6th pick go to us

    This could work. I think it's finally time to see what Favors can do for them.

    How on earth did you come to this conclusion? The report says they are exploring options. "Willing to trade for" means they will do the deal if we want them to. Your post that I quoted is even more puzzling.
