    The only thing great about Avatar was the special effects.
    This is just going be Transformers series with blue aliens.

    I loved Avatar...I didn't care that the story was generic..it was just a great blockbuster film. And it is the ONLY film I have seen that utilizes 3D to it's full capacity.

    But, I'd rather Cameron move to other stories than continue with a Sequel, let alone three more. WTF is he thinking?! Give us a worthy sequel to T2 or True Lies...how bout Battle Angel..Avatar 2 fine...but not more than that.

    Cameron is the master of the Summer Blockbuster. I have my doubts the franchise is worthy of all those sequels, but I'll give it a chance.


    Apparently the sequels will cost about a billion dollars in total, making them the most expensive production in history. The first film made 2.7 billion worldwide though, so the sequels would need to make just a fraction of that to still turn a profit.
