If Bobby Jackson can be in, so can Cuttino. His stats this season:

TEAM G GS MPG FGM-A FG% 3PM-A 3P% FTM-A FT% OFF DEF TOT APG SPG BPG TO PF PPG
    HOU 22 22 42.0 143-339 .422 28-96 .292 73-86 .849 .80 3.20 4.00 3.0 1.18 .73 2.32 2.80 17.6

If the stats are not big enough reason, well he is a Rox player, so let's just give him some support.

    My All-Star lineup:

    East:
    Kidd
    MJ
    Mashburn
    JO
    Wallace

    West:
    Francis
    Mobley
    KG
    Duncan
    Yao

    :) :) :)

Trust me, Cuttino will never get voted into the all star game by the fans unless he goes total Jordan on everyone...too much talent at the guard position, plus he doesn't get as much publicity as Steve or Yao (didn't he hire a publicist in the offseason? :))

I'd LOVE to see Cat in the all star game as a reserve, though...

As a selfish, low B-ball IQ player, Mobley will never, ever, make the all star team. Words.

I don't know why he was the 9th most popular guard in the Western Conference, then. ???????????????????????????????????????????????? Maybe cuz most people just voted for Steve and Yao and added Mobley? Probably...but still. 9th is not TOO far away. He's still better than many other guards. He was a second rounder...how many second rounder's score 21ppg over a season? Maybe because we had too many injuries...but we were lucky to find him.
Mobley will never be an All Star starter. But he could be like the last guard to play. Like 4th string.

Cat hasn't really shown most people that he can play since we have not been in the playoffs. When Cat lights Kobe for Finley up of 30 points during a playoff game, people will take notice ala Mike Bibby. People base these votes on popularity and most players on opposing teams don't get noticed unless they play in the playoffs unless they are hyped like Franchise or VC.

    hmm....good thinking.

I didn't give a crap about some guy named Mike Bibby. Well actually...I didn't care! But I saw him against the Lakers...and he was awesome. Yeah...we should show them on national tv. Everyone knows Yao already...:) so much attention. Franchise is like automatically in because of his street talents....but he only scored a three pointer last year...:( I agree. Cuttino has to display his good game in the playoffs and then he will gain recognition. But...Cuttino will never have like shoes named after him...like the Cuttino Mobleys...

I have voted for Ming and Francis. Kobe deserves to voted into the western conference SG role.

Are you aware that Jeff Hornacek had shoes his last year before retirement? If he can get them, I'm sure Cuttino can. :)

Speaking of shoes, have you guys seen the Yao Mings yet? They're red and white Shox with the Chinese flag on the tongue.

If Mobley put up those number, Rockets will lost by 30, period.

I have been working in the Dallas area for the last 4 weeks. Last week the Dallas TV stations started running advertisements to vote for Nash, Finley & Dirk for the NBA Allstars. In the advertisement they are asking everyone to vote "once a day, every day" for the 3 Mavericks. They are seriously trying to get their guys voted in. Is Houston running any kind of advertisements like this?

I TOLD YOU! That's what I said in my post...no the Rockets don't care! :(

I hope that Steve Nash doesn't beat Steve Francis...

They are really crazy about their team. I wish the Rockets were like that.

    LOL...THE YAO MINGS!!!! Nice shoes..

Remember the Rockets last nationally televised game, I think it was against the Pacers. Remember Walton begging Rudy to get Mobley out of the game. Mobley is going to have to prove himself. I am a Rockets fan, but only Franchise and Dynasty deserve to be All Stars. I hate when players make it in on popularity like Kobe did his second year when he wasn't a starter and proceeded to waive of a pick from Malone to go one on one with Mr. MJ. That just isn't right, and Mobley just doesn't deserve it this year.

I only vote for Rockets....I mean the All Star game is a meaningless exhibition anyway.

Cat got my vote as did Francis, Ming and KT.
