Welcome to my world op. The first time it happened a few yrs ago I finnally was able to wake up and I was freaking scared and was wide awake for a solid hr at 2am terrified. Now it happens every once in a while but I just say WTF not this ***** again and go right back to sleep lol It only happens when you sleep on your back! Avoid that and your good
Happened twice: 1. The first time was like in 2005ish, I was still in college. For some reason I slept on the couch in my living room and I remember that morning my mind was awake, but I couldn't move nor could I blink. I kept seeing this ugly woman's face (middle age I'm guessing) and for some reason she looked really angry at me (whatever b****, that was my couch, I can sleep where ever I want). I couldn't tell how long that lasted but my guess was around 2 eternal minutes. Then the spell broke, I blinked, and for some reason my eyes were fixed at the fireplace. Nothing came of it, never happened again in that place, moved on, continued to post on CFnet. 2. The second was very brief. I was sleeping when my gf called my phone. I was awake, wanted to pick it up but same schett happened. Couldn't move nor blink. This time there was a silhouette of a chick belly dancing to the ring of my cell. Nothing scary but I wanted to pick up my cell. The silhouette danced and slowly went down and disappeared. The second she disappeared I was able to blink and move. Do you guys see things/people too or is it just me?
happend twice last 2 weeks both sleeping on my back and very scary feeling.. first one i had black figure holding me down by my arms and i kept fighting to get back up and kept trying to say Jesus to get me out of the dream but couldnt speak. Finally woke up and my brother said I was murmuring while I was asleep and scared the heck outta him. Second time I could see my room but couldnt move, calmed myself down and realized it was a dream and woke up.
I've had these types of nightmares since I was a kid. Scary as ****. Usually, I would here echos in my mind after I woke up. I believe that might be from an anxiety attack of some sort.
If you want really weird dreams. Try eating a bag of chips that contain lots of MSG before going to bed. Dreams that I totally hate: -Elevator malfunctioning and free falling and dropping to your death. -Feeling really really awkward/embarrassment either wearing a muscle shirt or shirtless to school or certain places. -going back to school and you can't or don't know how to figure out for instance a math problem -trying to run away from something but your feet not cooperating -feeling totally uncoordinated in sports. No matter how hard you try you just suck.
Wow i've had everyone of those happen to me LMAO.. I've had quite a few of the ones where I'm back in high school and I'm wearing pajamas that I wore when I was like 7 and one time I basically felt naked... weirdest crap ever.
I've had sleep paralysis many times. Much like the ways others descibed with the feeling of being held down and unable to move. I believe in the supernatural to a certain extent and the talk about demons sitting on you while you sleep kind of got me creeped out. As far as bad or crazy dreams go if I eat pork in the evening I will dream some crazy stuff.
yea it happend to me and i know a few that had it too... it can range from 1 minute to hours. It's something like, your mind woke up, but not your body. I panic'ed when i couldn't move my body at all but i was wide awake, like i was paralyzed.
I hate that one so much. I had a dream where I was back in high school playing baseball (Left Field). Someone hit the ball to me, so I picked it up and literally couldn't throw the ball. I tried my hardest, but I couldn't throw it. Another one I had was when I was a junior in college. I dreamed that I was at my old high school's football game. I was kind of hanging around on the track, when I just walked over to the sideline and started talking to everyone there. The team wasn't playing well, so the head coach comes up to me and asks me to play WR for them. I get some gear on and get in formation. The ball is snapped and I try to take off running but I can't. No matter what I do, I can't run. Those dreams suck. As far as "scary" dreams, I used to have a recurring dream where my whole school turned into vampires. I would be heading out toward the open field where we all hung out during lunch, but then I would notice everyone started to look different. So I would take off running and hide. I would always stay "alive" for different amounts of time. I think that's probably a pretty popular dream, though.
