Um, yes you did. I don't forget things about my team, the Canes. And you popped off about Texas beating them and when I called you on it, you used that excuse. At any rate, if you would just admit one time that some of your predictions are ridiculous without making them sound hollow or placing the blame elsewhere (like the refs, etc), you wouldn't be in this mess. Yet, you remain unrepentant. And that, to me, is a shame. It is not the end of the world to admit that you might be wrong about some things without making excuses.
Well, I suppose I owe you a response. When you called me on it, I made the bet with you. I did say that I said a lot of that in response to how negative the general UT sentiment was (and maybe you interpreted that as a joke), but I did not say or intend that was a joke. I mean, if you want me to admit I was wrong... do you have any idea how often I've picked against Miami in the last two years? They've been damn unreal, and made my predictions look silly. I don't think you understood what I said in this thread. My predictions have been ridiculous, some of the time. But, so have a lot of people. I take offense to the statement that I can't predict well (hell, look at my betting account if you really think that). I've had plenty of down moments, but I've had plenty of up moments as well. I am a terrible person at overreacting, and for that I apologize to everyone here. With a couple of extreme exceptions, I do not think any official has ever cost my team a game, or a season. I know that I should not be posting here immediately after a game ends, but it's almost like a release of frustration for me, if you can relate. There are a lot of things I've said here in the heat of the moment that I did not mean, and I greatly regret that I didn't make that more clear, or stop posting them in the first place.
At least you havent made any of those predictions on HornFans. Of course your HornFans screen name itself is a prediction. Wrong of course
