How old are these 'confidential' docs? AppleTV 'just' announced? It's been around for years. This seems very outdated.
PS3 has still been going strong. What do you mean? You haven't been using yours or they just suck? How much would you sell one for btw?
I just havent had a need to use one...as far as gaming goes, I prefer xbox. As far as blu-ray goes, I have a stand alone blu ray player that I use. And then I also use my xbox for HBO Go, Netflix, ESPN3, etc... I just dont have any need to turn on my PS3 unless Uncharted comes out with another game or if I decide to buy MLB The Show. My PS3's are the older models...not the slim version. I forgot how many GBs of memory. Not sure what the market price is on one of those, but I could sell one at ebay type prices
I would rather them improve the hardware specs so devs have more to work with and there isn't a huge gap between the PC and console.
I bet the TV companion thing isn't intuitive or speedy. It'll be clunky and cumbersome. But we'll see. The personal screen thing seems like a great idea and every other next gen console will have it, but it's something that's already been tried! And it failed... In the end I'm actually not impressed. I think it's too early for the next generation by about 3 years. 3D isn't even common yet and I'm not certain it's nothing more than a fad. We're in a transition era for technology with all of the streaming media, tablets, and smart TVs entering homes, it's not a great time to gamble with a new system. Also the economy still isn't great in most places and the current gen systems haven't been pushed very hard yet.
I agree Ziggy. I think Microsoft should hold off on a system. In a few years with the continued filtering down of media XBOX could release a system that would be a full cable replacement. That's what I can't wait for.
