    so this was done before? I know it's not easy, but the more i watch it, the less spectacular it seems...aren't they suppose to create the opposite feeling?

    It hasn't been done in over a century.
    It'd be more spectacular if he didn't have any safety equipment on, but then he'd probably be killed on live TV. Lol.

    Not sure what it is exctly, i think he's just tied to the rope. He'd be hanging from it if he falls and would have to wait for help.

    The dude who crossed, illegally, like a bandit, between the world trade towers, circa 1974, was much more of a badass. I think he even shot the arrow across to string the cable.
