LMAO. Good catch my friend. I guess it just makes the final gun shot all that much more painful.

This happens with my dog and guess what works? When there is a bad storm, I put her in the car and turn the radio on. This works assuming you have a garage. My dog loves to ride in the car to begin with so shes happy to jump in and then once all the doors are closed and the radio is on she no longer hears the thunder and has no idea there is a storm.

Actually, I think you should see a dog trainer. They are equipped to deal with things like this. Giving dogs the medicine is like putting a band aid on the wound. Just my opinion.

Bo isn't scared of thunder at all. He would bark at thunder once in a while. I don't think he is scared of anything except when I am angry (at hubby or whatever, not towards him) THEN he is scared. Dogs are amazing. They can pick up body language. So when I am upset, I try to stay calm so I don't scare him. It def helped a lot with my arguments with the hubby. lol

hope you will get a solution, Xerobull!

p.s. I was disappointed to see no dog pictures in this thread. :(

Yeah, not a good idea for a dog having a panic attack or one that is severely stressed.

I wish. When it rains my dog freaks out too. But she goes and plays in it:mad: and runs from me so I cant catch her, and when shes ready to come in tracks muddy puppy prints on my carpet. But shes so cute.
Is this in reference to that person who was about to do the nasty and dog pooped in his wife face?:p

Did you know most lost dogs occur during thunder storms? A lot of them are afraid of the noise.
