I've been watching the Cowboys for more than 30 years

I personally hope that Emmitt agrees to restructure his contract and comes back for 1 more year. I would absolutely hate seeing him in another uniform. If in fact Parcells is hired Dallas will changes offenses to more of a "Smash Mouth" style of football. That means big bruising Fullback, and huge o-linemen. Both of those play to Emmitt's strenths.

 

I love the Cowboys and I cryed when Emmitt broken the all time rushing record. Know that what ever that record meant to fans, it meant so much more to #22.

However, I hope he leaves Dallas, signs with a contender and shows he can still get the job done.


With a terrible offence he almost got 1000 yards. The only reason he didnt is because they made some ROTTEN playcalling for him to end the season.

If you put him behind a good offensive line, I'd be happy to have him as my running back.

But I hope he leaves Dallas and goes to a team that will treat him a bit better. I think the way the Cowboys handled Smith after he broke the record was terrible and he didnt deserve it at al.



Anyway it sounds like Parcells is going to sign up which is great news. say what you like about Jerry Jones...the man will do ANYTHING to make this team a winner. he may not always do the right thing, but he is an owner that wants to win more then any other in professional sports.
