Roninsons is not trying to at the 3 hes a pf all the way. Now if hea going to be a superstar 4 I don't know but I do know hes a 4 and plays like a 4 and never has once said hes a 3.
I've noticed Quincy Miller has slipped in some mocks and even snubbed. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/3ZXmq1xRa4M" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
You guys might re-think PJ III after reading this: (or he just has been well prepped by his agent) http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/20...06/02/draft.notebook.santa.barbara/index.html http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...rojected-lottery-prospects-with-highest-upsid
I think I am going to change the rules for my post. There has not been a name mentioned that I would not like if they fell far enough. I am going am going to list some draft picks and where I would consider them a steal for the Rockets. Davis (1) haha that was easy. Drummond (7) Beal (6) Jones (11) Robinson (8) he is worth a lot more to other teams than the Rockets. Sully (18) If we want another bigger Scola he would be the perfect pick. Melo (2nd round) Zeller (14) Ross (16) Lamb (14) Ezeli (mid second round) quality backup center Taylor (27) Higher ceiling than Parsons, but not our greatest need. Looking back on list the only people who did not drop 4 or more slots from on the boards are Zeller and Ross.
Oh, there's no question that PJIII could very well make me look like a fool. He's a top-5 talent without question. I just question his mental make-up and his desire to be great. I also tend to be wary of guys who didn't live up to there potential in college. There are some expections, but more often than not drafting a guy on potential doesn't turn out too pretty. The same thing applies to Drummond.
Guys I like: Beal, Rivers, Ross, Leanord, MKG, Zeller. Guys I don't like: Drummond, Jeremy Lamb, Waiters, PJ3, any power forward not named Anthony Davis. If we were able to get Leanord, and Rivers or Beal imagine the team going forward with a core of Dragic, Beal or Rivers, Parsons, DMO,Leanord. That is a young, big, and balanced core of kids to groom. Throw in Morris if you still believe he has a chance.
So after the draft I have two guys squarely in my don't want list: 1. Drummond (compared himself to Kevin Durant) 2. Jeremy Lamb (dumber than dirt? White-skinned dude wtf?) Both these guys have apologists on the board who rave about their physical abilities and whatnot (there's that dude who said he should be first before davis). But the fact is in the NBA what matters most is not how athletic you are, but the stuff in your ears. These two guys have shown they don't have the maturity to take advantage of their physical gifts. Guys I really want: 1. Mayers Leonard 2. Terrence Ross (Wing player I like most. I have him second after MKG) 3. Jeff Taylor (smells like a Morey pick) ^These dudes are in our range and may be up for grabs. Leonard esp. increased his stock significantly, I think he might be the best C prospect in the draft. Interesting players: 1. Barnes (impressed with his focus and willingness to work out) 2. Royce White (Lebron is that you?) Disappointing players: 1. Thomas Robinson (not even 6'9 wtf?) 2. Jared Sullinger (a midget, unathletic and with health problems? LOL he might drop so low we could draft him)
