Is that official now? I read that he's hesistent and leaning towards not joining the national team, but it didn't seem official just yet. http://twitter.com/LithuaniaBasket
It's not clear yet. All I know is that federation is in talks with DMo's father about the insurance and other conditions of the matter and that DMo will most likely meet them face to face for a final decision some time soon. So hopefully this issue will be resolved next week or smth.
It's not the Olympics. It's the qualifying tournament. We talking qualifying tournament. We talking qualifying tournament. Not the Olympics.
If there still was any doubt, D-Mo apparently said he in fact will join the Rockets next season: http://twitter.com/SportandoBasket/statuses/210796806064443392 I guess him saying he might attend the Eurocamp also means he won't join his national team after all?
Isn't the Euro Camp for draft prospects only? Maybe he's there just to hang out with McHale and Karnisovas?
Jonathan Feigen @Jonathan_Feigen Motiejunas will work on buyout this weekend in Treviso. National team role uncertain, but sounds like he'll be w Rockets summer tm instead.
Stoked!!!! Better for him in summer league while we try to develope him instead of him teying to lift his team to the olympics... Cant wait to see him in a rockets uni...
I just put together some highlights from the Finals: <iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/dcYCWLQ9TxM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Feigen interviewed Motiejunas on the phone and wrote about his plans: http://blog.chron.com/ultimaterocke...s-goal-is-clear-i-want-to-be-one-of-the-best/ Looks like he'd rather spend time in Houston and Vegas with the Rockets than hanging with his countrymen in Venezuela.
