He's sort of like Mike Brown, all defense and no offense. They need an assistant who is an offensive guru who is great at Xs and Os.

I don't think it's exactly Spoelstra's fault that aside from Wade and Bron the rest of the Heat roster is filled with players that would sit at the end of the bench on any other team.

You can talk about all the X's and O's or lack thereof but when your overall talent is lacking you can only do so much.

Lets also not forget that Boston has been there year in and year out and they're much deeper and talented overall. It's easy to point the finger at Spoelstra but it's hardly his fault.

Spo is clearly being out coached. I wouldn't call him a terrible coach, but he just doesn't cut it for a team like this. Its clear that the players don't respect him. Wade getting in his grill, confronting him in the middle of the game? That made Robert Horry look play with Ainge.

Spo just isn't the guy for this team. The East is weak. It is pathetic how thin the East is, and the Heat for the most part cruised right past everyone. But like SA, Boston is a vet team, not as easy to blow out.

I think they give the 3 one more year, but I imagine Riley suiting up and putting all 3 of them in check.

Just because the other players on the Heat are not as good as LeBron and Wade does not mean they are **** players. This is the coaches fault. Shane/Miller/etc didn't play look half as bad until they were in Spos offense.

Its not a coincidence that every player not named Wade/James/Bosh just so happens to "decline due to old age" the first game they play as a Heat. You can insert Grant Hill, the NBAs never-aging miracle man, and he'll look like crap in the offense. The coach has got to go

I feel bad for the rest of the team. Really. Ok, no I dont, but, its hilarious how much those two carry that team. Like all the talk, there's no real team there, mostly just lebron and wade.

Pat Riley should have hired Adelman last summer. Common sense.

I think he's a good coach, I guess he could get fired...depending on how they lose the series if they go out fighting on game seven then I believe he'll stay but if the players quit on him then he's out.

Why? its not like he is undefeated.

Staying calm and not going out of control will have an affect on his next job. Its the right thing to do.

Lol, the last person you want to blame is spoestra --- Coaches have minimum influence on that Heat team.

That's the problem. Wade and LeBron (Wade a lot more than Bron) have huge egos. You have to corral that and bring them back down to Earth to have a chance to win a championship. That "big three" and a bunch of "garbage players" mentality won't work.

i don't agree it was a 4-1 raping. game 3 was an outright joey crawford gift. so they got swept, just like last year.

Show me a team that has won a ring without a true big or two (Bosh has been injured)...

    Dirk/Chandler/Haywood
    Bynum/Gasol
    Garnett/Perkins
    Duncan/Robinson
    Shaq

    I'll be waiting.
