didn't see in GARM / NBA Dish, LiN.
Even if, who would Houston want? Could we use this to send Williams to Orlando? =)

If the chip's in play, you must [insert Johnny Cochran's words here].

Unless they're offering draft picks; they've basically got nothing we want / need. They're not going to give us Love, Rubio, or Pekovic (obviously you target Pekovic) sooooooo...

Martin and Morris for Williams, Miller and their pick from Utah? Williams doesn't seem to fit, and they essentially get a cheaper version in Morris. They probably want Martin.

They'd probably try and throw Beasley our way

Solution, works for both teams (in my armchair humble o):

1 amnesty Martin, with the deal set up that he signs with Minnie.
    2 add Bud
    3 #18 + Williams come to ToyShop

    Works. For both teams.

Williams becomes a Laker/Gasol trade chip (if what I hear has any
legs the Lakes have interest in him). #18 is 3rd teen(y) draft pick
    to use, perhaps #16 to Cavs for #2 32 & 33? #18, Williams, Scola
    for Gasol?

Beasley is restricted FA. So is Lee for that matter.

    This article is useless.

I think Orlando would be more interested in Williams than Scola, which is why I think we do this deal.

Actually, you could trade for Brad Miller and Martell Webster before July 1st and waive both, owing them only (if memory serves) $500K and $800K, respectively. Major cap space.

I'd want more than that #18 pick, though, especially in handing Martin to a team that might have finished ahead of us in the stadings save for Rubio's injury, and was really only missing a good outside shooter.

If they tried to foist Wesley J. on us, no. If we added Morris or Bud and could wind up with DWilliams, maybe.

Anyway, I posted before this thread could get closed, because "hoopsworld" is to this site as Tracy McGrady is to the 2nd round of the playoffs as Voldemort is to Hogwarts.

LOL @ they would really give us Rubio, Love, or Pekovic for Lee and/or Martin.

    That was good laugh.

If this were a multi-team deal with Orlando for Dwight, where we send Orlando the Miller/Webster contracts, that is a lot of salary that Orlando can wipe off it's books. Just don't know if we can get last year's #2 pick for Martin alone. But...if we could, we may be able to swing a package deal for both DWill and Dwight once it became known that DWill was going to leave and sign with us as a FA if Dwight is traded here.

From what I gather from the previous postings and agree with is that a straight up trade with Minnesota is not going to help us because there not going to give us who we want. Either there is a three way deal with another team, or we have a guarantee of another move with another team after a trade with Minnesota.
