Days after the Clippers reach an agreement in principle to retain GM Neil Olshey, the Blazers have named Olshey GM, shortly after he & the Clippers part ways.
Paul Allen is RICH and Neil was not under contract. Its the clippers own fault though. They should have locked him up the moment he got the Chris Paul deal done. Its hard to say no to Paul Allen when he brings the Money Truck.
Good for him. Goes from one of the worst franchises in the league to one of the best. I'm sure it wasn't a hard decision when the Blazers called him with an offer.
This is really bigger news than is being made out in the media. What it indicates is the culture in Clipperland hasn't really changed, Sterling is still goofing around with front office personnel and as an extension of that, he's gonna goof around on the players. Does not bode well for Paul and Blake signing there long-term. We'll see if they are able to win over Paul long-term.
