Houston trades: PF Eddie Griffin (8.4 ppg, 5.6 rpg, 1.0 apg in 24.3 minutes)
PF Jason Collier (3.2 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 0.0 apg in 10.7 minutes)
Houston receives: PF Chris Wilcox (2.3 ppg, 1.6 rpg, 0.3 apg in 7.2 minutes)
SG Marko Jaric (8.0 ppg, 2.6 rpg, 3.1 apg in 25.6 minutes)
Change in team outlook: -1.3 ppg, -4.6 rpg, and +2.4 apg.

L.A. Clippers trades: PF Chris Wilcox (2.3 ppg, 1.6 rpg, 0.3 apg in 7.2 minutes)
SG Marko Jaric (8.0 ppg, 2.6 rpg, 3.1 apg in 25.6 minutes)
L.A. Clippers receives: PF Eddie Griffin (8.4 ppg, 5.6 rpg, 1.0 apg in 25 games)
PF Jason Collier (3.2 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 0.0 apg in 6 games)
Change in team outlook: +1.3 ppg, +4.6 rpg, and -2.4 apg

C.Wilcox is exactly what we need at the PF position , he would give us all the things we are looking for : A bruiser that will be able to guard all the elite PF and providing Rebounds and Defense to help Y.Ming. Wilcox have just as much talent as E.Griffin if not even more and he is also stronger and more athletic . M.Jaric is the tall Pg that we need so much , He is a great passer probably a better playmaker than Francis , he is tall and he is a good shooter . Jaric is the best answer that we could find to help our passing game. I know you are all sick and tired from all these trade ideas but I believe that if we could get those players we would be much better in every aspect of the game.

*if it is not enough to get them we could always add a draft pick or another scrub (Morris, Mooch ... ) .

    The Lineup would be :

    Y.Ming/K.Cato
    C.Wilcox/M.Taylor
    B.Nachbar/G.Rice
    C.Mobley/J.Posey
    S.Francis/M.Jaric/Mooch

You're kidding right! Wilcox is what we need? How do you know? He never plays. When he plays, he is more raw then Griffin! Griffin will be a stud. Give him a chance!

Wilcox is talented and can block shots and rebound but he is no bruiser and right now is raw although he can improve with more minutes. The Clippers have made many mistakes but are highly unlikely to give up Jaric especially with Odom and Maggette on the injured list.

    Isn't Wilcox injured?

How long did this take for you to figure out?

    I love this deal.

FYI- Odom and Maggette are back from the injured list.

    Maryland Terps unite!

Griffin will never live up to his hype on this team.

Don't take that as a put down, take it as a compliment to this team. This team has the most talent assembled since Showtime.

He will never live up to his hype if he stays on this team. Too much talent and not enough playing time (and field goal attempts) to go around. The guy has all the talent in the world, but he drifts away from the game quickly. He needs plays called for him. He won't survive as a 4th option.

In college he was the most explosive player I have ever watched on a consistent basis. A physical marvel, if he ever got the chance he would be a better player than whom he is always compared to, Rasheed Wallace. He is much more explosive.

From the games that I have watched he has an awful arc on his shot. He's basically throwing up linedrives out there. Thats just one other thing that will have to be improved with practice, PT, and play calling.

Put him on any other team in the league next year and he would get 20/10.

I will not that high on Wilcox. It is not worth to give up EG.

But I like the idea of somehow get Marko Jaric to play as point guard. From what I have seen, Jaric, a Yugo product has potential to be a good PG. He even outplay A. Miller in couple of games in LAC.

I don't know how to get him. But send EG now it is a bit too early.

ehh...whatever. But at least this trade has a high chance of going through, unlike the thousands of other ridiculous trade proposals on this board.

I don't see how this trade would be good for Eddie Griffin anyways. He'll be playing behind Brand for sure and even if the clips wanted to play him at 3 he'd be playing behind Odom or magette or whoever.

This trade sucks for us too...Jaric is a damn good player (more steals than turnovers??? How many players in the nba can say that?) but wilcox is worse than Taylor in a slump right now. Wilcox isn't who we need...if you watched the Maryland games, you probably thought he was a bruiser, but there weren't exactly any big tough PFs in the ACC when he was around. He pushed everyone around because he was bigger. Not in the nba.

Wait until Griff is at least 24.

20 years old is too soon to call him a "hype."
