The Toronto Sun is reporting that Vince Carter is linked with trade rumors involving Cleveland's Darius Miles and Zydrunas Ilgauskas. The reason they want to trade him is because he's always injured! They need a stable person who can score. They have a great team, and when they have Vince Carter, they are a playoff team. But their main guys have missed a lot of games. Who would want Vince Carter? Everybody wants him when he's healthy. But he's always injured! I would like Vince Carter instead of Cuttino Mobley.
carter would not fit the rockets rotaion. u guys be patient we dont need any more players. ok maybe a few role players change. but dont give up on our rockets just yet. remember consitency is a problem with young teams. YAO is only a rookie. he is not kareem abdul jabbar yet like every one knows he eventually will be. yao and the rest will gel together we will make the playoffs this year then we will go from there as far as coming contenders. we dont need a vince who can only dunk and show off. and who also has NO DEFENSE. and cato is playign a great year. sure his stats arent allstar caliber. but he only plays 17minutes a game latley and comes up with like 8 rebounds a game. careter would slow this team down let him go to the stinky cavs.

I would do that trade in a heart beat if it weren't for Vince iffy injury. Vince is a very good player and the reason is that he's playing on a team that don't even have a decent centre. I live in Toronto and before his injury, he was amazing to watch. Maybe his knee(s) is really bothering him and the only way for it to heal is for him to sit out the whole season if the injury is serious though. Trust me, he is much better then Francis before the injury and you can debate this all you like. I have watch many of his game and most of you haven't so please stop dishing the guy because it's not his fault because of his injury. Maybe the Raptors know something that we don't and maybe his injury could jepardize the franchise so they're not taking any chances with him so decided to trade him to Cleveland. THis doesn't mean Cleveland will keep him. Maybe they will use him to trade for someone else. Do I think it's a fair trade? I think so if VInce is 100% healthy and Cleveland should also give up their #1 pick.
There's a thread about it in the other forum. But from a Rocket's stand point. Not a chance in hell I would bring him to Houston. And for what? I think we have enough named players.
