i agree with b-ball freak. the idea is good, but the drummers are off. they always sound a little behind or a little ahead on their beats, it's never right on. they sound like what it would sound like if i, with no experience at all, were cramming to learn to play drums in like one weekend. now the drummers on the bands at college football games, and even some high school games, those guys are dead on with their timng and beats, not like our drummers.
The only part I like is when our bear Clutch shakes his booty for like one second. It's the only good part. Yep...Compaq Center is pretty quiet. There aren't enough people! SOLD OUT!
The drummers suck, the music we had during the championship years and a few years after was the best! Whenever I watched away games and heard the other teams music, I always remember thinking how much better ours was. That music really got you goin. Bring it back! I've supported the Rockets all my life. I never lost faith and always believed, I think they've been good every year since the titles but just had some bad breaks. It maddens me that every game isn't sold out; if I had the money, I'd be at every Rockets game screamin my but off! The Rockets are the best, and they're bout to have a long lasting dynasty-support your team Houstonians!
after seeing the half time show (the worst ever) at last nights game versus the knicks --which just so happens to be the worst rockets game so far this season, has anyones votes or comments changed? it's one thing having the drummers perform throughtout the sections during the game, but... why have them perform during half time, at our first SOLD OUT game, we could have come up with something much better. if the rockets did't scare off a few spectators for the next game, the drummers sure did
Okay. Maybe the reason Yao misses shots is because they play rap music! Yao must be disturbed! He needs classical music. Then we can put hardcore Marilyn Manson when we are on defense.
People tend to just watch the drummers, instead of yell and get involved. I don't think they should perform at halftime either. I don't have the anwsers, but I know the drummers are not the solution.
