Women don't have much options to get in any sports spotlight. Once in a while there might be some child bearing hips. Overall let the Jennie Finch's and Cat Osterman's have their 15 minutes. NBA players are a bit annoying with the glasses. Its so obliviously derivative following trends. With glasses there's no way to disguise that its NOT coming from an original place. Its like wearing hearing aids for style points but passing it off that its a "natural" look. I go NBA players cuz they don't have to do it. Though as mainstream as it is, I'm not for "predetermination" that just certain people can attempt hipness and others can't
I never see these women on tv so it doesnt bother me. The glasses on the other hand, I find quite offensive
I guess I am sexist but a couple of things on the fast-pitch softball: 1) These girls might as well be playing baseball - maybe they can't throw as hard overhand as underhand but other than the ball being pitched under-handed, everything else about fast-pitch softball is such a baseball wannabe. 2) Occasioally, you'll see some decent looking ones but most of these "players" are major woofs woofs. 3) They all have to have their hair in braids with ribbons or bows or have them in a pony tail. 4) Their games constantly run over their scheduled time and stuff that I care about like Sportscenter or Baseball Tonight - you never know when they are coming on. So, I voted softball; however if Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, Tony Parker, and Paul Pierce start wearing these damn glasses to look like tools, I'll have to change my vote.
