...Its strange remembering about how we had such great talent and Don Chaney was fired. He was not winning and its is beginning to look just like the Chaney situation. Naw ! Rudy must have a hold over Les! Naw! Hes just been there along time and forgotten how his teams won two Championships. He needs to take charge and light a fire under his players !!

    hmm...sarcasm?

Tonight was just a bad game. The Utah Jazz game was a terrible game. The Minnesota Timberwolves game was a horrible game. We need to use motion offense. See how the New Jersey Nets are beating teams by 20 points? We need that. And we need to pass to Yao more. And we need to play Bostjan Nachbar! And we need Kenny Thomas back!...We should return back to normality. Kurt Rambis...the Lakers assistant coach said that each assistant is assigned 10 teams to scout and they are supposed to report to Phil Jackson and give him a game plan against that team. We only have two assistant coaches, right? One assistant is in charge of tall guys and the other directs the guards. Why don't we get Lon Kruger? :) Anyways, Rudy Tomjanovich will never be fired by the Rockets because they love him and he has been with our franchise for over 5000 years. He has always been with the Rockets and he won two championships. I don't think they're fire him. Who could replace him?

Maybe not fire Rudy, but maybe hire new assistant coaches. Hire someone who can teach the Rockets how to make a fg.

It's not Rudy's fault when our best players come down and jack up three's with no attempt the run the offense.

And as a coach, he couldn't do anything about it?
    This is poor coaching.

Rudy must go. He has no control over this team and he's getting more clueless with each passing game. Rudy is totally a nothing out there. I can't stress it enough. I sound like a freaking broken record, but the Rockets are never, NEVER going anywhere with Rudy's inept ass as the coach. The game has passed him by.

When a team is shooting that bad, why not try putting in Nachbar.....? Rudy just let the players do basically anything they want. Rudy is a coach, so he should coach. Very frustrating game......the worst game I have seen in my entire life. Rudy should have just told the players to go to Yao. I don't care if his shooting percentage goes down, We would have a higher percentage than 27 %. These guys were building the new Rockets arena with all the bricks they had. It was pathetically pathetic!!!!!!! Too many dumb quick shots without even trying to pass the ball. AAAARGH!!!!!

it is Rudy's fault!!!! He has the power to bench a player that does not follow the game plan.

amen to pooh222 and cujo... i attended the game tonight and was so disappointed, i wanted to get a refund back my tickets.

at first, i thought the halftime show was bad (so long and drawn-out), but after seeing the rockets' second-half performance, i was begging to see those red, face-painted headbangers back on the court. and where was nachbar? if we're going to get behind by nearly 20 points in the 4th quarter, at least give this guy a chance to get some p.t.

the team's offensive strategy (or lack of strategy) can only be blamed on RUDY. how many other coaches in the nba consistently allow their players to operate in such a stagnant offense where quick shots are just catapulted by the first player who can get his hands on the ball? there's little movement, minimal creativity, and terrible decisions being made. perhaps rudy needs to start drinking heavily again so he can get some of those creative juices to start flowing back into his head... maybe another night in the west u. jail could do some good. wake up, rudy!... something smells good in stinksville.

one last point, every time i see eddie griffin play, i keep thinking about how richard jefferson is kicking butt in NJ and how we should have never made the trade... even though he plays SF, at least RJ is an explosive, aggressive scoring machine. eddie g. might end up being an over-hyped version of buck johnson.

    peace.

    Rudy needs to go. Period.

He's not getting it done. There is too much talent on the team to be 15-13. If it had been anybody other then Rudy, the guy would have been fired after the 1st game of the season. Get him a job somewhere else in the organisation, but damnit, bring in a new guy to get the rockets to where they should be !

How can you say this is not his fault? He's the one "coaching" the team! If he's allowing these things to happen, then it IS fault. The fact is, that he's in over his head. Time for a change. It's that simple.

I´m also against Rudy. With this team any other coach could do better things. First of all to win +50 wins.

The players do that they want. Everybody shots when he likes. Doesn´t matter the position , the moment, anything; and Rudy don´t says nothing. TEN assists!!!! That can tell you all. The Rocks don´t play basketball, Sacramento play basket, Utah, Minnesota, New Jersey also.
The rockets could play Dallas´ basketball if they don´t play too large possesions to finish with a bad shot.

Plus, is easy play with this team. Pass to Yao and give him space, if he can´t play one on one then pass the ball out........
Look at the Lakers (no this year) or the Kings, Yao can pass like Webber and Divac, so the Rockets should give him the balls that the Kings give to Divac & Webber.

The Rockets can run much more. And with Posey more.
Eddie and cut can´t shot always. You need team-players, and they are not this(with rudy, might not with any other coach).
Rudy let play Nachbar and quit rice, is past. He is a team player. Francis can be it perfectly if you tells him, but he see nobody made shots so he shots more. Mourice is a team player and a good force inside, he knows to pass. James too. Moochie?

He couldn´t play with other coach. He´d put on Tito, much more faster and playmaker
With other coach Stevie might defend something.

    Rudi out please!!
