Nah, don't think so. Van Marwijk is a bit predictable. Think he will still go with Sneijder, unless the injury he picked up today is anything other than very very minor. I would be happy with VDV starting though. He played well today.

Wow I didn't even see Eriksen. How is he higher on the list than Huntelaar (and many others).

I agree with Ace about the how the dutch team will play. I am curious to see (if Matthijsen is inured) who will play at his position (Bouma or Vlaar or another).

Hart is a damn good goalie and along with Kompany was the major stabalizing factor with all the crazyness that was City's season that allowed City to stay the course and win the EPL title. Also I believe he had like 14 clean sheets this season which is amazing.

I actually agree with Hart over Neuer looking at their respective seasons, but Eriksen that high is a complete joke.

As important of a player Ibrahimovic is, I'm surprissed he's so high on the list at this age.

Russia 1:0 vs. Italy in 60th minute.

Italy is dictating the game and creating beautiful chances, but they're not making them. Is that common for them?

3:0 for Russia...Like I predicted, Italy is not experienced enough with their young guys.

too common. we dominate but cant seem to score. with cassano just coming back from a life threatening injury and rossi out, our attack is very thin atm. Balotelli was sensational and so was pirlo.

scorline was harsh. We played well but our defense was horrid, which is quite unusual. all three goals were at the fault of our rb maggio, no buffon in the second half didnt help either. he does an immense job of organizing the backline. And w/ chiellini back im sure our defense will be fine come euros.

also important to remember that this was italys first friendly since February, while that was either russia's 2nd or 3rd friendly in two weeks. we should of had one on monday but a devastating earthquake in italy that morning canceled it. Just wish we had another friendly b4 our match vs spain.

2 things can happen and imo they have an equal chance of happening: Italy could crash out in the group stage (2nd most difficult group in the euros) or we could surprise many and make it to the semi final, maybe even the final.

Van Marwijk has stated he will play with Van Persie as striker, and with Huntelaar on the bench. Not surprising, but a bit disapointing. A dutch newspaper had the story, Huntelaar is not amused.

Anyone watching the England vs Belgium game? Wow, Roy Hodgepodge has them playing crappy football. It's a miracle they have the 1-0 at the half.

Is England planning on winning the Euros playing anti-football like Greece did?

What a boring way to play.

That whole stupid list clearly overvalues EPL.

    True dat.

I've also found out that with all the injuries going on with their national team, Hodgepodge plans to bring 6 Liverpool players for the Euros. Bad news for the national team.

Steven Gerrard, Glen Johnson, Jordan Henderson, Martin Kelly, Stuart Downing, Andy Carrot.

Gerrard, Johnson, and maybe Henderson might be starting. Scary.

Ireland will place second in the group
a Win against italy and a draw or even a win with croatia and we will be set. Dont know why Robbie Keane wasnt put in the top 40. He has scored over 50 goals with his country,
