Portland - and then lingering injuries. (Sorry, Anthony, but it is the destiny of the Trailblazers.)

They are incapable of getting the #1 pick (top 3, protected) by the Nets.

It really doesn't matter to me, as usual it will be a team that people least suspect or most suspect. Though, I doubt it will be the Bobcats, only 3 teams in the last 15 years have gotten the #1 pick with worst record.

On the contrary, I would like to see the better prospects end up on teams that are headed in the right direction, because I'd like to see more competitive teams in the NBA. Impossible, but I hope all of the wasteland teams, prefer Charlotte and Washington draft the bust players.

Things would be more interesting with Sacramento, Cleveland, New Orleans, Golden State, Toronto, or Brooklyn/Portland in top 3 pick.

    1. Bobcats
    1A. Cavs
    2. Wizards

Think there would be something special about Irving and Davis.

Don't they own their own pick at #11?

    Though a few thoughts:

    - It will suck, if Golden State doesn't get top 7 pick. Utah is granted another top 10, yet again. While, they have the pieces to trade up.

    - Most of the teams projected to be in top 8 are also in good salary cap situations and expected to be big players in free agency (Cleveland, Brooklyn, Portland, Toronto, New Orleans). Moreover, teams, like Sacramento, Washington, and Toronto have several young players that might be willing to put on the market. I honestly believe with a really good off-season at least 2-4 of these teams will make the playoffs, next season.

    1. Nets or Trailblazers (gives either team alot of leverage in FA acquisitions or even drafting a high quality player).
    2. Kings (playoff team on the horizon, especially if they are able to get pieces through trades, as well).
    3. Cavs (They have a chance to get 3-4 really good players in the off-season, and were competitive (East) team. Irving, high draft pick, two quality free agents, and two later draft choices.
    4. New Orleans (Like the Cavs, a high pick with cap room and a not too awful of a roster to begin with).
    5. Toronto (High pick, cap space, many talented young player already on the roster, and ambitious)

-The Bobcats will proceed to be one of the worst teams in the NBA, yet again. Regardless of who they draft.

    - I seriously doubt a team, like the Suns, Bucks, or Rockets get into the top 3. It's happened once in the last 15 years and only twice in the last 25 years. Orlando was the last team to have the best non-playoff record and win the first overall pick in 1993. Too good to get high lottery pick, yet not good enough to make the playoffs.

I should of said they have a very slight, miniscule chance. The chance of them winning it are close to zero.

You guys are reaching, if you think they are going to get top 3 pick, being 4 best team in the lottery.
