I think Gibson, Deng, and filler would really sweeten for LA, while Chicago would have to find a taker for Boozer and find replacement for Deng. CJ Watson should be adequate enough to hold down the fort at point guard, and with a player like a Blake or Sessions.

    C - Noah
    PF - Gasol
    SF - Player for Boozer/Korver
    SG- Brewer/Hamilton
    PG Watson

They lose a little depth at first, especially at power forward. Though, Gasol is quite few lengths better overall than Boozer and Gibson.

Yeah, there's no way we are trading Rose, sorry. Even bringing up that topic is blasphemy here in Chicago.

    lol What?

I don't understand how people are just automatically jumping to the fact that he might be Penny or Grant Hill. I don't think the guy has had many injuries in his life. This was his most injury-riddled season which could easily be blamed on the shortened season. He tore his ACL... plenty of other players have come back from that to be just as good as they were before the injury. There's a chance he might not be as explosive but he's also only 23.

They don't have to do that. Bynum should be the one to go.
Bynum and Gasol ain't compatible. There's a reason Phil finished the game with Gasol and Odom. They can bring back Odom and do that again. A Gasol/Odom duo is better than Bynum/Gasol and resign Hill they have a complete inside rotation.

If they can swap Bynum for a star PG, Lakers are legit contender again.
