It's not too much of a reach. In fact, it's less of a reach than us getting Dwight or Deron and yet you see a lot of people coming to their conclusions on that.
As long as they have the intangibles of Battier, they don't need him. Battier has been playing GREAT this season and his shooting only gets better throughout the years. Shame he got robbed in the MVP voting.
Having Bosh there is obviously better than not having him, but I think the Heat is better off having 2 quality starters take up that salary instead. This would also allow LeBron and Wade to play more like they've been playing, a 1-2 run-n-gun style of play. I know this wouldn't work against every team, but it's fun and isn't that what life is all about?
