You fail to understand two things. 1.) Players improve, especially players like Francis. 2.) The Rockets defensive system focuses primarily on taking away the post weapons of other teams. Other team's guards have always done well against us, as our system is not set up the way many other's are. In the 3 games they went head-to-head, Bibby outscored Steve by 68 points to 65 points. Not sure what your *point* is. The Rockets can't make the playoffs b/c Francis' stats are comparable to Bibby in 3 games? Wait I got it it - you wanted to call attention to the game Francis was hurt and Bryce Drew waxed Bibby 17 to 11. Damn, and to think some people want to trade that guy! ------------------ GATER
My point is that Francis has to carry the team and is way to young to do that where as the Grizz have Dicky, Reef and Bibby (and no I don't honestly think the Grizz will make the play-offs). Isn't the PG's job to pass? I would like to see how the assist stacked up in those games... ------------------ GO Grizz!
Assist totals for the 3 games: Bibby 23 and Francis 22. For the single game: Bibby 2 and Drew 5. Bibby and Francis are both quality PG's, the difference will be the other 4 players on the floor. You can't get an assist if your teammate misses the shot. I think it will be real fun to watch Swift and Taylor go head-to-head (actually toe-to-toe). ------------------ GATER

Vince had T-Mac, as well as Vets like Oak and Wallace. Basically all I am saying is you rely on him TOO much right now...but I guess we will have to wait for the season to see forsure.
