He and Deandre have been sitting on the bench in the 4th quarter lately because they can't score unless its a dunk. He is a helluva athlete but has almost no basketball skill.

Is getting way better? Again, if its not a dunk, he isn't making the shot. Why do you think the Clippers could not win a single game? In crunch time, they can't run plays for their supposed #2 option. Griffin and Jordan both rely 100% on athleticism and size rather than skill. There simply aren't those types of players in soccer, its just a different game. Every basketball team has a handful of players that play basketball due to tremendous physical gifts regardless of skill. I can't name a soccer player who is on the field simply for a physical attribute.

This is a pretty biased forum to be asking a question like that. I think it's soccer, though. It's a lot harder to dominate others just by having superior physical tools in soccer, whereas in basketball if you have a 5'5 guy playing 1on1 with a 6'8 guy with similar skill levels, it's not hard to guess who'd win.

Or anyone who wanted play a competitive sport in the fall without screaming like a pro wrestler. "C'mon, black!" "C'mon, red!" "4th and 1!" "Comin' through the wood work!" "Dome or Home, man, Dome or Home!"

That's quite an overexaggeration. Sure he's raw and needs to improve but he's clearly got skill, did you watch him in game 4? You can't average 21 pts on 55% shooting during the regular season and 19 pts on 50% in the playoffs with no basketball skill. A player like Thabeet would lack basketball skill, and he's clearly not cutting it in the NBA.

Soccer hands down, I played both for quite sometime. Btw, this is basketball forum and soccer is still leading by with 52%, now go ask this question on a Soccer forum and I assure soccer wins a least 75% of the vote.

Soccer, it's like basketball but with 10 times more turnovers and they never score.

    Oh, the excitement of futility!

Soccer easily, the advances skills are much harder to master. You also won't dominate simply based on certain body features.

I always dominate everything based on certain body features. See: paulftsk's thread.

Where do you think basketball players learned their flopping skills from? Footbal players have mastered that eons ago.

Soccer by far, basketball is easy especially if you are tall, go lower your goal to 8 feet and shoot if you are average height.

Using your hands is much easier than feet, imo.
