    Ah, I understand what you're trying to say now. But now you're grasping at straws here. You're basically saying everyone should ignore last year's Finals performance.....yeah. no one is going to do that.

    I never said they shouldn't. Thing is, we're not in the Finals yet. We're in round 2.

    Stop. He's only been in Miami, since last year. Didn't do well against the Mavs, but he was unstoppable against the Knicks (this year) and the Celtics (last year).

    And he destroyed the Bulls (last year).

    Hakeem only went as far in the playoffs as Robert Horry and Mario Elie carried him.

    Well, yeah...

    LBJ can't win games by himself. He isn't going to score 80-90 points.

    People need to stop with the notion that a player can win a game by himself. The guy accounted for 62% of his team's offense and he still needed a player or 2 to step up to win a game.

    Lebron and Wade both needed Haslem to hit those shots to win, Haslem carried the team? :confused:

    James and Wade needed 70 plus Haslem's 14 to only win by 8. Hibbert and West were no-shows.

    James and Wade aren't going to go off every night. Hibbert and West aren't going to not show up every night. Something has to give.

    In fact, the only thing Miami has going for them, is HCA.

    OK then. So what is wrong with what Skip said? Yes, LeBron needs Wade to win. He can't do it all by himself. It is what it is.

    Wade needs LeBron more than LeBron needs Wade.

    LeBron = Batman
    Wade = Robin
    Bosh = Batgirl

    Edit: There is no The Key. There are several Keys, including both player's scoring, rebounding, passing, and defense.

    Skip Bayless didn't just say he needs Wade to win he said he carried him to the victory.

    There is a big difference between someone saying a player needs someone and saying a player needs to carry someone.

    The Heat needed a third guy to step up with Bosh out for them to win that doesn't mean Haslem carried them to the win.

    So if LeBron wins the title and Finals MVP, it'd be because Wade carried him there?

    According to Skip yes. I'm still wondering who carried Lebron to the finals when he was with Cleveland.
